May 13th, 2012 - After more than his fair share of bad luck to start the season, Dustin was finally able to get things pointed in the right direction on Sunday night as he raced to the Super Late Model feature win at Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois). A solid field of twenty Super Late Models entered the event, and Griffin began his night by racing from the seventh starting spot to claim the win in the first heat race, which locked him into the Summy Tire & Auto Dash. In the dash he claimed the win as well, which resulted in him starting on the pole of the feature event with Jason Perry starting alongside of him. As the 30 lap, race went green Griffin bolted to the lead and never looked back on his way to leading the entire event to claim his first feature win of the 2012 season! May 11th, 2012 - Friday evening found Dustin returning to Tri City Speedway (Pontoon beach, Illinois) for a Weekly Racing Series Event at the facility in his #20 Super Late Model. Fourteen entries registered for battle, and Griffin began his night by finishing fourth in the second heat race to earn the eight starting spot on the grid for the feature event. During the course of the feature he would pass four cars to record a fourth place finish behind race winner, Mark Burgtorf, Dewayne Kiefer, and Randy Korte. May 4th, 2012 - On Friday night the team entered a $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois). A talent-laden field of 48 Super Late Models registered for the event, and the night would start rough for Dustin as mechical issues relegated him to the back of his heat race, which left him starting deep in a b-main. Griffin would pass a few cars in his b-main but failed to reach a transfer spot to the feature event, ending his night early. Full results are available at www.TriCitySpeedway.net.

April 29th, 2012 - On Friday night Dustin was in action at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) in a Weekly Racing Series Event. A strong field of 21 Super Late Models entered the event, and Dustin began his night by finishing fifth in his heat race to lock into the thirteenth starting spot for the main event. During the course of the feature he would pass five cars on his way to an eighth place finish. Full results are available at www.TriCitySpeedway.net.

On Sunday night the team was scheduled to compete at Quincy Raceways (Quincy, Illinois), but for the third straight week, rain forced the event to be canceled.

April 22nd, 2012 - It was second verse, same as the first for the team on Sunday as the NALMS event slated for Quincy Raceways (Quincy, Illinois) was washed away for the second, straight week.

April 20th, 2012 - For the second straight week, the team has been rained out at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) as the Mid American Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model event fell victim to Mother Nature.

April 15th, 2012 - The team intended to enter a pair of events over the weekend, but Mother Nature claimed the victory in both events. Friday night's Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model event, and Sunday's scheduled Northern All Stars event at Quincy Raceways were both claimed by rain and rescheduled for next weekend.

April 8th, 2012 - Looking to overcome his early season frustrations, Dustin entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Quincy Raceways (Quincy, Illinois) on Sunday night. A solid field of seventeen, UMP DIRTCar Super Late Models entered the event, and Griffin began the night by winning his heat race to lock into the Summy Tire & Auto Dash for the feature. The dash found Dustin winning again as he earned the pole starting position for the feature, alongside Bobby Pierce. As the race went green Griffin shot to the lead, and would pace the first seventeen laps before a caution flag erased his lead on lap 17. On the ensuing restart Pierce and Matt Bailey would slip past Dustin as he fail to the third spot. He would go on to record a third place finish behind race winner, Bailey, and Pierce. Even though it wasn't the win that he had hoped for, Griffin was just glad to get the mechanical woes monkey off his back. Full results are available at www.QuincyRaceways.com.

April 6th, 2012 - Dustin opened his 2012 campaign on Friday night at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) as a strong field of twenty-two, UMP Super Late Models registered for battle. The night started well as he won his heat race to lock into the dash, where he finished second to earn the outside-front-row, starting spot for the feature alongside pole-sitter, Jason McBride. Early in the event Griffin would battle at the front of the pack before mechanical issues struck, which relegated him to a disappointing, 21st place finish. April 1st, 2012 - Engine issues kept Dustin from taking part in opening night at Quincy Raceway (Quincy, Illinois) on Sunday night. Griffin hopes to open his season on Friday night, April 6th with a Weekly Racing Series Event at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois).

January 8th, 2012 - With a new year comes a brand new website for Dustin Griffin from Camp Point, Illinois at www.DustinGriffin20.com. Dustin pilots his #20 Griffin Motorsports/JL Scrapmetals/Summy Tire & Auto Late Model at events across the Midwest. He was the 2011 UMP Pro Late Model National Champion as he picked up an impressive 22 feature wins during the course of the season. For the 2012 campaign he will be making the jump to the UMP Super Late Model division as well as competing in select UMP Pro Late Model events.
